| Effie the Dancing Queen By Monica |
 |
|
Dancing Queen By Monica King, MBA Effie is
the “Dancing Queen”, and we chose that Abba
classic as her dance song because she is truly a bon
vivant. That’s right, Effie has learned to dance! She
spins, marches and weaves with a huge smile on her
face. Every Thursday night, the perceptive Princess
gleefully jumps for her leash and runs to the car
knowing it’s dance day. No wonder why her nickname
is “Effervescent”! Effie’s life is truly a fairy tale,
however. Her happy ending started out as a gloomy
beginning.

| Sweet Pea needs a loving home |
 |
|
Sweet Pea, a soon to be totally blind, mostly Pit,
pup, is in a race with the clock to find a loving
home. His Ophthalmologist feels training and a new
home adjustment would be easier while he still has
some sight and the Trainers feel he needs to have a
home to go to before he starts special training. With
a family or a friend in the wings they could reinforce
his training once "boot camp" comes to an end.

| Satellite Training Locations |

training classes for your convience at the following
locations. Barking Hound Village on Manchester
Drive, Dog Days in Buckhead, Pet Supplies "Plus" on
Piedmont Avenue, Rex & Roxys on New Street and
Wag-A-Lot on Northside Drive!

We are excited to tell you about our buddies at Good
Life Cabins in Western North Carolina! They have 2
cabins with hot tubs, pet-friendly, with a creek on
the property. Winston, Flea and Zulu have all stayed
at Good Life and LOVE it! They are close to trails,
rivers and lakes for canine romping and exercise.

Your dog, The next Olympic hopeful? |
|
|
|
The Winter Olympics are back in full force in Torino,
Italy. Like many of us, you may-be glued to the
tube watching and cheering on our American
hopefuls. Of course your trusted companion is right
there with you, day dreaming of one day being an
Olympic hopeful as well. With all these exciting
action pact events who can blame you guys for day
dreaming about achieving a Gold medal ( or just a
dog bone either way).
With so much to choose from like skiing,
snowboarding, figure skating, bobsled, luge and of
course the most dangers of all the Olympics sports...
curling. Well, may-be not the most dangers but if
you crave that sort of bone crushing action I
recommend Ice Hockey. Now that I think about it, I
guess everything in the Winter Olympics can be
pretty dangerous except curling. With all this its easy
to see how you've both been stuck inside lately.
