We don’t know much about Shiloa’s background prior to adopting her, but she definitely came with some
baggage. Border Collie’s are known for their propensity to control chaos, however, Shiloa went way too far. Whatever she perceived
as chaos – a barking dog, too much noise, or someone stepping on her tail, she would go after the first small furry thing she could find and
take her aggression out on them. We didn’t know if we could or should keep her. |

CGC Certified!
CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who
have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for
owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. This is
the first step for many dogs to receiving other certifications, such as becoming a therapy pet and getting trained in canine rescue.
